Wednesday: Kitchen Lab: Plan Your Plate

Hazel spreads out a long menu of snack foods. "Pick your favorites," she says.

Bennie wants everything. "Can my plate have twelve things?"

"What do you notice about a plate with many colors?" Ferris asks.

Riley taps the menu. "Here is a hint," he says. "Pick a few colors and check each one."

Your mission

Plan a snack plate with no cooking.

Choose 3 to 5 foods from the menu. Try for many colors.

Check each food with a grown-up for allergies.
