Wednesday: Make a Sky Night plan

Rocket wants to run his own Sky Night.

"Where do we start?" Rocket asks.

Raven opens the sky log. "What do you notice? We learned so much this year."

Nova shows a checklist. "Hint: good plans start with the season and the Moon."

Planning questions

  • What season is it? Which star pictures are up?
  • What is the Moon doing? A bright moon hides faint things.
  • What is the weather? Is a cloudy night backup ready?
  • Where is your safe spot near home?
  • What will you bring?
