Wednesday: Peek box

Rocket puts a toy in a box and closes it.

He peeks in a tiny hole. "It is all black!"

Nova hums, "What could you add?" Raven grabs a flashlight.

You need

  • A shoe box with a lid
  • A small toy
  • A flashlight
  • A grown-up with scissors
Safety first
A grown-up cuts the holes with scissors.
Never shine a flashlight into anyone’s eyes.

Steps

  1. A grown-up cuts a small peek hole in one end.
  2. A grown-up cuts a flap in the lid.
  3. Put the toy inside the box.
  4. Close the lid and the flap.
  5. Look through the peek hole.
  6. Now open the flap and shine the flashlight in.
  7. Look through the peek hole again.
