Launch Lab: Push and pull hunt

Rocket, Raven and Nova go on a hunt.

They look for pushes and pulls.

Rocket shouts, "There is one!"

  1. A push or a pull is a force.
  2. A push moves things away.
  3. A pull moves things closer.
  4. Still things need a force to move.
◇ PUSH AND PULL HUNT
Walk through your home together.
Find three things you push.
Find three things you pull.
Show each one to your grown-up.
For a grown-up
Ask: what did you notice?
Ask: what would you change next time?
Try naming each move: push away, pull closer.
WEEK CHECK
