Launch Lab: Habitat in a box

Raven finds an empty shoebox.

"Let us build a tiny habitat," she says.

Rocket grabs cotton balls for snow. Raven grabs green paper for moss.

Nova circles the box. "Hint: what plants and animals live there? What do you notice?"

  1. A habitat is the place where a plant or animal lives.
  2. Different habitats have different living things.
  3. Saguaros store water. Polar bears have thick fat and fur.
  4. Corals are animals that live in the ocean.
