Launch Lab: Sock walk

The crew pulls old socks over their shoes.

"We are the animals today!" Rocket says.

They stroll through a grassy park.

Raven checks her socks. "What do you notice stuck on them?"

Nova shines her light close. "Hint: look for hooks and fluff."

  1. Seeds travel to grow in new places.
  2. Hooks grab fur. Fluffy hairs ride the wind.
  3. Some seeds float. Some ride inside animals.
  4. A seed’s shape helps it travel.
