Tuesday: Freezing

Rocket wants his ice back.

He pours the puddle water into a cup.

"Where is the coldest place we have?" he asks.

Raven opens the freezer door. "What do you notice in here?"

Nova hums. "Hint: cold does the opposite of warm."

Freezing

When liquid water gets very cold, it changes to solid ice.

This change is called freezing.

Water takes up more room when it freezes.

Ice floats in water.
