Launch Lab: Sock drawer science

Rocket has a basket of clean laundry to sort.

"This is a science job!" he says.

Raven lifts a fuzzy sock. "What do you notice about the textures?"

Nova hovers above the pile. "Hint: choose a rule and stick to it."

  1. To sort, pick one rule, then test each object.
  2. The same objects can be sorted in many ways.
  3. Good rules use properties you can observe, like color or texture.
