Crew Quest: Graduation Night

The shuttles are safely away, and the station is quiet. Rocket hangs paper stars around the galley. Raven sets out a stack of cards, one for every week of the course.

"What do you notice?" Raven asks, spreading the cards out. "Week one was just print. Week twelve was a whole planner."

Nova projects a glowing badge that says Crew Engineer. "Great discovery," she says softly. "You did not know all this at the start. You learned it, one line at a time."

  1. Values, variables and print. Lists, loops and choices.
  2. Strings: slices, upper, lower, in, split and join.
  3. Dictionaries and lists of records.
  4. input, int, and the input, process, output shape.
  5. Functions with return, refactoring, testing and debugging.
