Ready, set, fly!
Thrust, drag, lift and weight act on a plane.
Your throw is the thrust.

β FAMILY FLIGHT TEST
Each pilot folds one plane. Mark a start line and a 10 foot line with tape. Each pilot throws three times. Write down every throw. Then each pilot changes one thing and flies again.
For a grown-up
Pick a hallway or open room with nothing breakable nearby. Keep pets and little ones out of the flight path. Ask: what one thing did you change, and what happened?
Safety first
Never throw at people or pets. Clear the space before each throw.
